SIZE-IT is a Water Heater Sizing Program intended to be used to select from the Andrews water heater product range a suitable appliance(s) for a particular hot water requirement for various property types.

The program is available FREE from Andrews Water Heaters either:

• on CD-ROM obtained by contacting Andrews directly

or

• click on the 'Download' button from the SIZE-IT drop down list, register and download the software directly from this web site. The software can then installed on your own PC.

The software requires Win 95, 98 or XP and 10MB free disk space.

Using SIZE-IT's Main Form the user selects a property type, enters information and is presented with recommendations of water heater(s).

The selected water heaters (or any water heater product for that matter) can be viewed from the water heater electronic catalogue screen - with photographs, CAD drawings and specifications available for inclusion in your M & E design proposal.

A report detailing the sizing information and heater recommendation (short or detailed) can be printed out using the Print Dialog Box.

Those of you who are familiar with the program will notice a number of changes in addition to the inclusion of our latest products. The major changes are as follows:-

1. The number of property types has increased from 12 to 15 by including Churches & Temples, Mosques and Salons.
2. We have provided a new feature which indicates both oversize (green) and undersize (red) of heaters, expressed as a percentage.
3. Andrews condensing storage water heaters have been broken down into 2 categories. Maxxflo - Stainless Steel storage tank and Ecoflo - Viterous Enamel storage tank.
4. The default values for all baths and showers have been amended to 120 litres and 60 litres respectively to indicate average room occupancy of 1.5 persons.
5. Wash hand basins in schools and offices now default to 5 litres/hour.
6. The number of hotel guests bathing as opposed to showering has been reduced to 35%.
