Baxi Commercial Division is sponsoring the very first CIBSE YEN Champions Awards, which are being held at the Royal Academy of Engineering on 9th July 2009.
There are two awards, one for the small company and one for the large company that has done the most to champion young people in the Building Services industry.
Included in the judging panel is Paul Hardy, Managing Director of Baxi Commercial Division, who has over thirty years experience in the H&V industry gained in
contracting, specification and sales.
"At Baxi Commercial Division we have always given CIBSE our fullest support and we are excited to be part of these awards that recognise the efforts made by
companies to help young people in the industry," said Paul. "We believe it is essential to support and encourage young engineers as they embark on a challenging yet highly rewarding career - they are, after all, the future of the industry." Peter O'Brien, Area Sales Manager for Baxi Commercial Division, has been involved
with CIBSE Young Engineers Network since before its official launch. Later in the year he will be co-leading a training visit for network members to see boiler
manufacturing in Holland, as well as liaising on matters regarding Baxi Commercial Division's sponsorship of the 2009 YEN ball.
